I'm melting


No one said it was going to be easy.
In fact, I heard it was one of the hardest things to encounter.
Raising a child in a one person family and income is at the very least challenging.
Along with the obvious obstacles there are the ever so lovely parenting differences.
What goes on here what goes on there and what the exceptions are.

The last three weeks have been incredibly trying on both of us.
Since she has not seen much of her dad during that time.
This morning, school drop off will be a lasting memory.
Hearing the words "You are an asshole just like my dad" come from my four year old wasn't necessarily what I wanted or was prepared to deal with.

So I did what any other red blooded breathing human would do...I jerked that long blonde pony tail hard enough to raise her eye brows!...... Of course I am kidding.

I almost cried!!! I said a few things nicely and walked out.

That is how my day started and the night ended pretty similar in fact...I remember hearing..." I can't turn on the DAMN water!"
Ugh! Suggestions?

On another vent...since that is what I am doing....
When can we let go of past experiences and allow people in unconditionally?

Help me out. I am at my wits end.....
